Mental Health Services Now Available Through RiseKit

RiseKit Partners with Chicago Nonprofit to Offer Much-Needed Services to Users During Critical Time in Nation
CHICAGO—Today, technology company RiseKit announced that it is now offering mental health services to its Chicago users. With depression at an all-time high due to the coronavirus pandemic and job seekers’ morale at an all-time low, these services will now be available during a critical time in the U.S.
Partnering with NAMI Chicago, RiseKit will provide access to these resources to address this often overlooked barrier to employment.

NAMI Chicago provides mental health support that can help RiseKit candidates holistically. Managing and understanding our mental health, obtaining job training, and securing employment are important steps to improving our overall life position. We are thrilled to partner with NAMI Chicago to help candidates RISE," said Melissa Lovitt, RiseKit’s Career Navigator.
“Access to quality mental health care, safe and stable housing, and other community supports are critical foundations of people’s ability to be well and maintain their wellness every day,” said Alexa James, CEO of NAMI Chicago. “NAMI Chicago looks forward to partnering with RiseKit to help people navigate the barriers they face in seeking or retaining employment and providing connection and support for their mental wellness.”
Chicago users will have access to the NAMI Chicago Helpline, which provides assessments and referrals to a clinician, group classes, or connections to other resources. NAMI Chicago also provides staff training for companies and organizations interested in crisis intervention and youth mental health.
The services will be available for a minimal fee to Chicagoans depending on income and insurance status.
