As 2024 approaches, we at RiseKit wanted to take a moment to reflect on our incredible journey this past year. It's been a year full of milestones and accomplishments that we're truly proud of, and we couldn't have done it without your support. Here's a glimpse into some of our key moments:
Chicago Launch Week: Chicago Launch Week was an exhilarating experience where we had the opportunity to connect with a diverse array of government organizations, nonprofits, and corporations. Together, we worked on collaborative solutions to address employment challenges faced by underserved communities. The impact of this week is immeasurable, and we are committed to continuing this vital work.
RiseKit Company Retreat in Florida: In Florida, our entire team came together for a strategic planning session that will shape the future of RiseKit. We discussed our vision for 2024 and beyond, setting ambitious goals and refining our strategies. The camaraderie and dedication of our team members were truly inspiring, and we can't wait to share the results of our planning with you.
LinkedIn Live Web Series: This year, we launched our LinkedIn Live web series, which delves into critical topics within the workforce development industry. From discussions on diversity and inclusion to highlighting the importance of LatinX hiring, our web series aims to inform, inspire, and foster meaningful conversations within the community. We encourage you to join us in these insightful discussions and stay engaged with us on LinkedIn.
Grant from GitLab and $775K Investor Raise: In 2023, we were honored to receive a significant grant from the GitLab Foundation, which supports RiseKit's mission to connect employers with candidates from community-based nonprofits. This year, we also secured $775,000 from investors to enable organizations to scale their community hiring and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This brought our total $4.75M in fundraising!
